The workshop will train you on how to manageyour entire literature review with the help of software from browsing to citation, reviewing and developing concepts. Participants will learn how to combine potentials of both Endnote and NVivo (software) for very rich literature review.

  • Duration:         Two-Day
  • Pre-requisite:  Some research experience,  good usage of MS Office, internet browsing and familiarity with digital databases
  • Method:          The module is 50% expert lecture and 50% through hands on practice
  • Resources:      Participants must bring own laptop having  trial versions of NVivo 10 and Endnote

Hand-on-Practice

  • Browsing and searching through EndNote software
  • Using EndNote as literature database
  • Using EndNote for citation and referencing while writing
  • Managing your references library
  • Managing literature resources in NVivo  software
  • Reading and writing literature in NVivo environment
  • Building concepts through NVivo
  • Presenting linkages and relationships in concepts through NVivo

Learning Application

The researchers will save time, energy and attention from lot of manual work in literature review. The browsing, citation, recording and management of articles would be through software and by few clicks. Creating concepts, making comparison and treating various theories would be very easy through software.
