“Muqaddas Tariq is Chemist by profession and serving in a Public-Sector R&D organization as Assistant Director (Research), where she is involved in the studies related to the problematic soil and brackish irrigation water and their reclamation methods. Areas of her research interests fall in water research, environmental, material and electro-analytical chemistry. She is also working with Institute of Research Promotion (IRP) as Academia Coordinator and Adviser Commercialization in IRP Tech Hub (a brainchild of IRP). Her R&D experience and networking with govt. and private sector enables her to bridge the gap in policies for academic institutions, technology transfer and its applicability.
She disseminates the industry/society problems to academia and perusing the (post lab trialled) projects to commercialization.
She is a young scientist with an excellent academic credential. She is the professional member of “Water Environment Federation, Alexandria, VA, USA” and Lahore, Pakistan Student Chapter of “The Electrochemical Society USA”. A number of international research publications and conference presentations are also on her credit.
She is a keen fellow to work for the transformation of our academic researchers into the entrepreneurial scientists.”
